InkHarmony is a calligraphy meditation app created and operated by an independent developer based in Norway. We respect your privacy and collect the minimum data necessary to deliver the product and communicate with you.
When you join our waitlist or subscribe, we collect your email address and your language path preference (Chinese, Japanese, or both). That's all. We do not collect your name, location, payment details, or any other personal data through the landing page.
We use your email address to send you product updates, launch announcements, and the starter kit we promised (first character, grid paper, pen guide). Your path preference helps us understand which language to prioritize in development. We will never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your email and preferences are processed and stored by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Kit stores data on servers in the United States and complies with applicable data protection standards. You can read Kit's privacy policy here.
We process your data based on your explicit consent, given when you check the consent box and submit the signup form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing (every email includes an unsubscribe link) or by contacting us directly.
Under the GDPR and Norwegian data protection law (personopplysningsloven), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), request restriction of processing, object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
We retain your email address and preferences for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is removed from our active mailing list. You may also request complete deletion at any time.
The InkHarmony landing page does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. We do not track your browsing behavior. Kit may set a cookie when you submit the signup form to prevent duplicate submissions — this is a functional cookie, not a tracking cookie.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
If you believe your data protection rights have not been adequately addressed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.
